All available field types in Bookedin

With the Bookedin booking form, you can easily collect all the necessary information from your guests. This form is unique per calendar and fully customizable. Below, we explain step-by-step which fields you can use and how to add them.

1. Log in to your account

Go to https://www.app.bookedin.nl/login/ and log in with your credentials. After logging in, you will see the dashboard.

2. Check if you have a calendar

  • Already created a calendar? → Proceed to step 3.

  • No calendar yet? → Follow the guide "Make your first calendar" first.

3. Go to Plugins > Booking Form

In the menu, click on Plugins and navigate to Booking Form. On this page, you will see two columns:

  • Form settings (left)

  • Booking form (preview) (right)

4. Standard fields

Every form is automatically generated and includes the following standard fields:

  • Name

  • Phone number

  • Email

  • Street

  • House number

  • City

  • Postal code

  • Message These fields are always included, but you can customize them to your preference.

5. Customize the form

In the left column (Form settings), you can decide which fields are visible or mandatory. This allows you to tailor the form completely to your specific needs.

6. Adding custom fields

Do you need additional information from your guests? You can add various field types via Add custom fields:

TextSmall field for short answers, e.g., "Guest name".
NumberNumeric values only, e.g., "Number of people" or "House number".
EmailSpecifically for email addresses. The form only accepts a valid format with an @.
Text areaLarge field for longer answers, e.g., "Comments" or "Special requests".
Select boxA list with fixed choices, e.g., "Yes, I have pets" or "No, I don't have pets".

7. All set!

Your form is now customized with the fields you need. Guests will see this form when booking, and the submitted data will automatically appear in your calendar.
