Retrieving the iCal link from Airbnb (for import into Bookedin)

Important: Please complete these steps on a desktop or laptop — many calendar export/import functions are currently unavailable or limited in the mobile app.

1. Log in to Airbnb

Open your browser, go to https://www.airbnb.com, and log in with the account you use to manage your listing(s).

2. Go to the calendar of the desired listing

Navigate to your Host Dashboard and open the listing you wish to export. Go to the Calendar / Availability section of that specific listing.

3. Open the availability/synchronization settings

Look for Availability settings, Calendar sync, or Connect calendars (the exact wording may vary slightly depending on your interface or region) and open that section.

4. Export the calendar (iCal)

  • In the calendar synchronization section, select Export calendar (or Export / Airbnb calendar export).

  • A window will appear with a unique URL. Copy this URL (it usually ends in .ics).

  • Close the window when you are finished.

  • Verification check: Ensure the copied link ends with .ics — only iCal links in this format work for automatic synchronization.

5. Paste the iCal link into Bookedin

  • Log in to Bookedin (https://www.app.bookedin.nl/login/).

  • Navigate to Plugins → Synchronization and Import.

  • Click Import new calendar, select the Bookedin calendar you want to import into, paste the iCal link, name the import (e.g., Airbnb), and choose the desired booking status. Click Create.

6. All set!

Your bookings have been successfully imported from Airbnb. From now on, reservations from the linked platform will be automatically read and added to your Bookedin calendar.

Handy Tips

  • Dates only, limited guest info: iCal feeds (especially from Airbnb) usually only contain the booked dates — not full guest details or payment information.

  • Privacy: Do not share your iCal link publicly — anyone with the link can view your calendar availability.

  • Sync time: Updates via iCal are periodic; changes may take anywhere from a few minutes to several hours to reflect on external platforms.

  • Can't find the option? Ensure you are in the Host/Listing view (not the general Airbnb homepage) and are using a desktop. If you still cannot find it, consult the Airbnb Help Center or Community.
