With the Bookedin Enterprise plan, you receive your own rental website. This website is built in WordPress and edited with Elementor, making it easy for you to post and manage your own blog articles.
A blog is the perfect way to:
Inform your guests.
Gain extra visibility in Google (SEO).
Share tips and inspiration regarding your rental property and the surrounding area.
Follow the steps below to post a blog article yourself:
Go to the login page of your website: www.yourdomain.com/wp-admin
Enter your username and password.
Click Log In.
You will now enter the WordPress Dashboard.
In the left-hand menu, click on Posts > Add New.
A blank article will open in the editor.
Enter a title for your blog article at the top (e.g., "5 tips for a perfect holiday in Zeeland").
The permalink (URL) is generated automatically. Ensure it is short and clear.
You can start writing directly in the main text area.
Use headings (Heading 2, Heading 3) to make your article easy to read.
Add text, images, and videos if necessary.
Click the blue button Edit with Elementor.
You will enter the visual editor where you can add blocks, such as:
Images
Text blocks
Columns or sections
Buttons (e.g., "Book Now")
Drag the desired elements into your article and customize them to your style.
In the right sidebar, scroll down to Featured Image and click Set featured image.
Upload or choose a suitable image that will appear in the blog overview.
You can also insert extra images within the text using the Add Media button.
In the right sidebar, you can assign your article to a category (e.g., News, Tips, Inspiration).
Add tags (e.g., holiday, beach, pets welcome) to improve searchability.
Are you satisfied with the content and layout?
Click the blue Publish button in the top right corner.
Your article is now live on your website!
Click View Post to see your article as visitors will see it.
Share the link on social media or in your newsletter to attract more readers.
Tip: Post new articles regularly (at least once a month) to improve your Google ranking and keep inspiring your guests.
