Inventory management or a bookable calendar
Booqable is built around inventory management for rental businesses: registering items, scanning barcodes, drawing up rental contracts, handling collection and return. If you run a rental business with a counter, hundreds of items with serial numbers and a formal contract per rental, that is the kind of system you need.
Plenty of rental businesses are not there yet. They have a manageable stock, work without a counter, and get stuck on something else: requests coming in by phone, email and WhatsApp, a spreadsheet only they understand, and a deposit that has to be transferred afterwards. Their problem is not registration but bookability.
That is what Bookedin aims at. You put a calendar on your own website, set how many copies you have per item, and customers pick a period and pay straight away, deposit included. Fewer features, but exactly the features that take that daily hassle away.
Stock that counts down
Twenty identical trailers? You enter the number and the calendar only closes the day once everything is gone. No need for twenty separate calendars.
Deposit and extras
Delivery charges, insurance, accessories and a deposit are attached to the booking. It is all paid in one go by iDEAL, Bancontact or credit card.

When Bookedin is not the right choice

Serial numbers and barcodes
If you need to track which individual unit is with which customer, you need item registration. Bookedin counts quantities, not individual copies.
Rental contracts per booking
Bookedin sends confirmations and your own terms, but does not generate a signed rental agreement per order.
A counter with checkout and return
If you run a warehouse process where equipment is issued and taken back with inspection, heavier software fits better.

If you do not need that and mainly want customers to book a period online and pay for it, Bookedin is the simpler alternative: a calendar on your own website, stock that counts down, a deposit and extras in the same booking, and a fixed amount per month.
Yes. You set how many copies you have per item. The calendar counts how many are out on a given day and only closes the day once everything is gone, so your stock is never double booked.
